TRUCKHUT
TruckHut is a FoodTruck mobile application for people aged 18-60 who are either full-time students or full-time working professionals. The goal is to allow TruckHut clients to order for delivery from a food truck of their choosing. I designed this experience from the ground up as part of my Google UX Design Professional Certificate, using the design thinking approach.

Design Challenge
To Design a Food Delivery App for Food Trucks
The Problem
Following the epidemic, there has been a growing trend of ordering food using apps. With professionals returning to the office and university students attending classes online, many do not have time to cook their own meals. Our indirect competitors, Swiggy and Zomato, do not provide customers with the option to order from food trucks.
TruckHut aims to provide a solution to this dilemma by offering an app that helps students and working professionals to locate food trucks within their area and order for delivery
The Goal
To design a seamless , easy to use mobile application for ordering meals from FoodTrucks and providing a positive user experience while keeping accessibility in mind
Research
In order to better grasp the issue, I interviewed various food delivery app users as well as regular FoodTruck customers. I constructed empathy maps to understand the needs and challenges of users. As a result , I was able to identify two important user groups and create user personas for each of them
Pain Points
Solution
User Flow
User Journey Map
After creating user personas and identifying pain points, a user journey map was created for Manas Wadhawan to understand the user’s emotions as they go through the process of ordering food
User Personas
Keeping the above user paint points in mind, I created two personas that reflect an ideal user of the application. These personas aided us in developing better solutions by providing an in-depth insight of customer goals and pain areas
Sketching
I began the design process with rough Storyboard sketches using pen and paper. I created a Big Picture Storyboard to depict the user's experience and a Close Up Storyboard to illustrate the product itself

Usability Study
In order to gather feedback, I conducted usability testing. This helped me measure the user friendliness of the app

Visual Design & Prototype
I created an accurate model of the Cetaphil product and imported it into target tracker
Reflections
Delivering a food truck mobile app after conducting research, brainstorming, and prototype
By performing both fundamental research and design research, I was able to develop my research abilities. I also used the results of usability studies to iterate on both low-fidelity and high-fidelity designs.
By working independently, taking control of the creative process, and presenting my designs and research findings, I was able to improve my storytelling capabilities
